Site Introduction
Think & Tink, located at the downtown Kuching, Malaysia. Borneo Laboratory took over the lease during the pandemic and converted the disused supermarket(Ting & Ting )--space between supermarket & (Think & Tink ), a fusion of gallery , community space, theatre and weekend market
The Origin of Betterment Lab
As the pandemic has changed the form of education drastically over the past few years, we are interested in instigating a collaboration between centralised educational institute and de-centralised platform to enable betterment in the community beyond reach.
In 2022, Borneo Laboratory and Feng Chia University collaborated on the workshop to explore on the omni-channel education model that involves community, academic and industry participation. Since March 2022, the workshop has been incorporated as one of the accredited course in the University.
In July 2022, the participants gathered on site in Kuching, Borneo to complete their material experimentation with realised products.
